Sophie + Cecilie

Hanna Kovanen

Something I was rumoured about is finally here; two of of my favourite Copenhagen labels, namely Sophie Bille Brahe and Cecilie Bahnsen, have exclusively collaborated for Net-a-Porter. I am super stoked about this match, as I totally adore both labels for their laid-back luxury.

You shop the clothes here and the jewellery here.

I will be off to Copenhagen for some fashion madness soon… cannot wait to see more!

Bottega Fall Campaign

Hanna Kovanen

Bottega Veneta have just released their Fall 2019 campaign, and to get to the point, I looove this image! Anna Ewers looks smoking! This also means more shoe cravings… sorry not sorry, if your feelings are mutual.

La Dolce Vita

Hanna Kovanen

La Dolce Vita could not sound more me! I am so hedonistic in some ways, as the people closest to me do know, that I could totally spend the rest of my life on the beach sipping wine. Thankfully I understand the importance of hard work, as I would be in trouble otherwise. But wearing Sophie Bille Brahe is the sweet life, no?

Sophie Bille Brahe have released their new collection, which has been inspired heavenly indulgent. It is available in their online store as we speak, and you can see my favourite pieces from the collection above and below:

Bottega Veneta Resort

Hanna Kovanen

I love love love Bottega Veneta’s Resort 2020 collection. Daniel Lee is starting to nail his approach at the Italian fashion house – every piece is refined yet not over-worked. And the styling is so good here! I have nothing more to add that I want it all!!

Céline Nude Sandal

Hanna Kovanen

I just had to check in to let you know that I have finally managed to catch the dreamiest pair of summer sandals! Céline by Phoebe Philo, of course! I had to contact to sourcers in order to get my hands on them.

They should arrive tomorrow, as I had to postpone the delivery due to family engagement. Cannot wait!!!!

The Row Pre-Fall 2019

Hanna Kovanen

A superb collection was, once again, dropped by The Row. It looks slightly more wearable and less oversized than the previous collections – usually the case with Pre-Falls. There is another leather jacket that cannot stop thinking about… You can view the entire collection here.

The Mule

Hanna Kovanen

On my infamous wish list; the Mule by Totême as worn below by Elin Kling at home.

They will launch on Thursday next week, which means I don’t have that many days left decide, if I should invest in this pair or the upcoming (?) flip flop heels from THE CITY clip. When will the flip flops launch is the billion dollar question?

Bottega Veneta AW19

Hanna Kovanen

Bottega Veneta has been taken by a storm, namely by Daniel Lee, who previously worked as the Director of Ready-to-Wear at Phoebe Philo's Céline. Hence the expectations were high, but a lot was delivered. I liked the Pre-Fall collection better, as it felt more wearable and feminine. But as it comes to this collection, many of the dresses will be on my shopping list (see below) in addition to some of the shoes and bags.

See the full collection here and read what STYLEBY's Editor-in-Chief, Jonna Bergh, thinks here.

The Row AW19

Hanna Kovanen

I look forward to The Row’s show every season, so luckily they actually held a show for AW19, as they were absent last season. But… I suppose all I want to say is I love what they do at The Row; they create clothes for women which are ohh-so irresistible and designed for everyday life.

This season you should note their focus on the waistline and the selection of masculine shoes. But as you know, I cannot wait to see the entire accessories collection! I just really think it would be timely for them as well to make a shift to faux fur.

Anyhow, see the full collection here.

KHAITE Luggage

Hanna Kovanen

Thinking of bags in the post-Phoebe-Philo-era, it turns out there’s a new shopping address – KHAITE.

The brand’s first ever and very promising show was held at New York Fashion Week a couple of days ago introducing a selection of covetable bags. My favourite is the Medium Circle Tote in either Black or Deep Red leather. I also love the Caramel leather, but I think the large size would not work with my petite frame.

Totême: THE CITY PT. 2

Hanna Kovanen

I loved the first series of THE CITY by Totême but the second is even better; I like to see clothes in action and in a context. I could never stress the importance of context enough, see, it totally dictates what tempts me or where I get my basic t-shirt from.

I also love the 90s film vibe here. The mood reminds of old Julia Roberts films or images of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. Such a good job by Gillian Garcia! And I am so ready to invest in the belt and those shoes. Release them already!

Villa Malaparte

Hanna Kovanen

I have always loved pearls! I really think there’s something very feminine about wearing pear jewellery. A couple of days ago Sophie Bille Brahe launched their SS19 collection, which draws inspiration from Italy.

My personal favourite is the Peggy Perle necklace, which plays with proportions. I think the varying proportions make the very necklace a little bit more exciting! I also love the classic Botticelli earrings that now come in a larger size worn as a single earring; the Botticelli Grand. So gorgeous!
