The Line has launched a summer home and seasonal store in the Hamptons. As they they have put it, the new store ”is an opportunity to discover a carefully considered selection of fashion, home and beauty items in the context of a  home.” The selection includes brands such as Altuzarra, ATP Atelier, Manolo Blahnik and Protagonist – perfect, no? It is  a must-see place and a wonderful source of inspiration.

We are a few days into the month of June which means that it is time to set the mood for the summer. My favourite season no doubt.  I am looking for the swimwear (still not sure what to buy) and cannot wait to wear a wide-brimmed straw hat like the one Elin Kling is sporting.

Swimwear Pick

Swimwear above from MATTEAU SWIM.  For me it has always been important to wear the ”right” swimwear and sunnies every summer, maybe that is because I have lived in Australia or because summer is my favourite season. Nevertheless, you should always choose swimwear that you feel comfortable wearing (read this post), do not worry too much about what other people think, and try to look for something of good quality.. You should definitely check out Matteau Swim as the label masters the classic and uncomlicated swimwear. It was recently created by Ilona Hamer who is the Fashion Director of Unconditional Magazine.

Earlier today I had a chance to visit The Apartment by The Line in SoHo which potentially is my favourite place in the world – at least my dream home.  It is one of the best curated concept stores and carries brands such as Proenza Schouler, ATP Atelier, Toteme, Rodin, Lemaire and J.W. Anderson.  In love.
