I have this obsession with beautiful retail spaces, which effectively bring clothing into a context. Lucky you, if have had the change to stop by at THE ROW´s retail place in New York City (it was opened straight after my last time in town). It is a still one that is forever inspiring… perfect weekend inspiration!

If the Alphabet collection by CÈLINE was not an obsession of mine already in the fall, it really is right now (!), though I am not sure if I want an H or another alphabet. Ever since it was announced Phoebe Philo is departing, I’ve been wanting to fill my closet with CÈLINE only. So yes, I am part of the skeptical club…

I am writing highlights for STYLEBY.nu after each day from Stockholm FW. Here’s my view on Totême:
”Totême’s second, very exclusive display was held at Bukowskis, a Nordic auction house, and the set featured sculptures by two Swedish artists, Eric Grate and Eva Lange, creating a chic context for equally stylish clothes. It might be Elin Kling and Karl Lindman’s strongest collection so far highlighting sculptural shapes paired up with sleek leggings and denims. To reach the elegance and sophistication of the Totême woman you might want to add to your shopping list the grey skirt, one of the puffy jackets, and it seems furry scarves will be a must-have in the fall as well as a denim jacket, witch was a first for the brand. The uniform was enhanced by shoes from Manolo Blahnik – as said, style in context at its best.”
So it seems that my shopping list for the fall has just begun to take shape, literally sculptural shape, and I might want to invest in more Manolos. Maybe boots… Love this collection so much – congrats Elin! x

Not long ago I spotted a very talented Los Angeles based artist, Carmen D’Apollonio, on Vogue who is behind these beautiful ceramic creations. Some of them have been designed exclusively for CÈLINE. Well, if Phoebe approves….
WARDROBE.NYC is the latest brand to follow; started by Christine Centenera, the Fashion Director of Vogue Australia, and Josh Goot as an anti-fashion movement the brand has been built around sets of four and eight essential pieces. Love the deeper meaning behind the brand and the slit trousers in particular on my latest model crush, Charlee Fraser, for Vogue. Chic!

Feeling CÈLINE’s Pre-Spring collection? Hell yes.
First of all, I am in love the with the India inspired golden hoops. Bang. Secondly, more beautiful jewellery and bright, beautiful colours, and the shoes to have next season. I’d have them all, thanks.
I am currently (or always) inspired by the resort wardrobe and dreamy destinations. The long winter has only begun, and hence I have been thinking of saving up for a vacation. Hoping to take a break in January or February… travel is the best source of inspiration and I have lacking inspiration lately.

I haven’t had a huge bag crush for some time – instead I have been eyeing bags from previous seasons. One of them is BYREDO´s Seema, maybe in the smaller size. I find that smaller bags flatter my looks because I am rather petite.

I must start filling lottery coupons from now on since I am completely obsessed with the ´Boucle Ensemble´pieces of jewellery by SOPHIE BILLE BRAHE. Both, the earrings and the ring haunt me. Though these are pieces you’d keep forever!

CÈLINE’s resort collection is out!
All I can think of are those red heels in the picture above. Bravo! Otherwise the collection follows a familiar pattern; a lot of power dressing, chic lace dresses and new sunglasses. Nothing wrong with that as the recipe obviously works.
