here’s a few trans-seasonal favourites of mine; as the long summer nights seem to be here to stay, I like the idea of mixing up the new fall arrivals with summer must-haves to create a great August look!

Ready for fall? Well, I am and don’t get me wrong because I don’t want this heatwave to end – I am summer babe after all. But I am one of those people who embrace constant change, especially when it comes to my wardrobe.
One of the key pieces I would love the invest in the fall is this puffer coat from Totême. I had some issues with the brand’s sizing due to my petite frame, but lets keep fingers crossed!

At CVC Stones they design the most beautiful and honest stone jewellery, as seen above. However, I spotted some new arrivals including pearl jewellery – my favourite is the very timeless ‘Mignon’ pearl necklace as well as the bracelets.
Of late I have been inspired by my favourite editorial from the 7th issue of Unconditional Magazine. The editorial stars Tasha Tilberg and it was styled by our Fashion Director and my ultimate fashion hero, Columbine Smille, and shot by Alexandra Nataf.

Byredo will launch an exclusive selection of horn combs which will be available on the 28th of June. I have soft spot for beautiful combs – I have been using Aerin Beauty’s travel comb for years – which is why this launch catches my attention.
I also like the fact that ”each shape is conceived as a tribute to powerful women in African history: Quaan Pharaoh Hatshepsut, the Legendary Queen of Sheba, Queen Mother Idia of Benin, the warrior Queen Aminatu of the Zazzau kingdom and the powerful Queen Nginga of Angola.”
Each comb is presented in a calfskin leather case and has been made of sustainably sourced zebu horn.

Wearing my new Céline earrings in the picture above. I had been eyeing this pair since last summer and, oh boy, I had tried them on so many times in Stockholm, London and counting! Luckily the sweetest Tina of Let Them Wear Shoes spotted them on Vestiaire Collective for me.
Here’s a few summer favourites of mine, including the ‘Noma’ blouse in grey, which I was able to pre-order. It comes in the most beautiful wool fabric, so it’s going to be part of my uniform this summer. Hear, hear!

A clutch I have been eyeing for a while. It is a white beauty from Céline and it would such a beautiful addition my collection of small clutch, which sort of seem to be my thing – most of my bags are clutches!

Here’s a few of my favourite images from Iceland, one of my favourite and the most inspiring countries. I draw a lot of inspiration from nature and I tend to prefer scenic destinations, which is why I had been dreaming of traveling to this magical island for many years!
And in case you were wondering, I did not dress to impress: I wore a raincoat from Rains everyday and Céline sunglasses when the sun came out. Hence I suppose these images will do more justice to the time spent out there.
Driving towards the Westfjords of Iceland after a dip in the Blue Lagoon. I definitely thought that the pricey swim was totally worthy of every penny, though had I not been the driver, I would have stayed a bit longer just to drink more than one glass of red wine.
Seljalandfoss in the South of Iceland. This spot is pretty special because you can walk behind the waterfall and the drive to the spot is surrounded by snowcapped mountains.
A river somewhere near the Artic Ocean captured at 7am. The morning felt like driving through a Game of Thrones set.
The view from Duhórlaey where there’s the Arch with the Hole surrounded by majestic black sand beaches and snowcapped mountains. This is also where we spotted a killer whale!
Skógafoss near Dyrhólaey which was one of my favourite spots. The walk up should totally be your a must-do list as the views only get even better.

Sorry for a bit of absence lately; I have been digital detoxing which, in my case, means spending time with friends, swimming and bathing, and drinking good wine while eating Finnish chocolate. But back to the more usual topics. Right now I fancy Bukowskis’ auction with Italian 1960s and 70s design. This couch by Mario Bellini is spot on! I also like these vases which are currently on sale.
