Since I returned from Australia I have had two savings accounts (actually three as it is always a good idea to have a financial buffer): one for future travel and another for Sophie Bille Brahe jewelry. I want one particular diamond earring, but their pearls are also such gems and also a bit more commercial, as the price point is lower. I am currently craving these Notte Grande earrings.

The other day, I created a page for showcasing my curated selection of essential pieces - timeless yet interesting. I don’t think a piece of clothing needs to “basic'“ to be considered an essential. I like a bit of edge. All of these pieces above can be found there. And all of them are from The Row, by accident, whereby this might not be the most accessible ensemble, but come the summer, this is exactly how I’d like to get dressed. Right now, I have a thing for menswear-inspired shirts like the Sissa blouse. Rika Studios have a made a really nice one too!

I have a tendency (shocking haha) to wear anything I consider comfortable whenever I am at home. Now all the time, obviously. Like no jeans or any that sort of thing. But I am definitely beginning to reach a point where a bit of fashion (or feeling like myself on a normal day) would not hurt. This week I have made a point of putting on a nice shirt to lift up my mood and it really works. Maybe I will be wearing a pair of nice shoes next week. Who knows? But a pair of these Curve sandals would not hurt either.

I haven’t worn denim (any nice things for that matter) during this quarantine thing. Sometimes I put on nice jewelry, as I think that levels up my mood a tad more - it is all about feeling comfy I guess. Here’s some things I am planning to get my hands on though. And, hell yes, I am still very into leggings.

I am late to the party but that is ok since a bag should always be an investment. I am usually late anyway. I am also a fan of shoulder bags as they come with a tendency of being practical (well thats is a first) and the Cassette by Bottega is beaut. I like this very light color too!

Having said what I just said this is for my nurse friend. I have a pair of these mesh flats from The Row (a brand which has never felt more contemporary) in pale pink. Sorry not sorry they feel ridiculously comfortable on - I wore them a lot in Australia. This sock shoes now comes in new season’s colors which look really look! I love quirky twist they add to any outfit.

I lost my Cèline Edge sunglasses (read my favorite sunglasses) last summer. I tend to really treasure whatever I invest in so that was a bummer! As it is almost impossible to get them now, I have thought about getting these new aviators by Bottega.

If feeling comfy requires a new sartorial investment, then I would urge you to consider buying from a smaller label, as it is vital to support small businesses . This Bottega shoe might old news for those in the business, but since I have been enjoying the beach life instead of spending hours and hours on Net-a-Porter, I am only now letting you know how much I am obsessed with this shoe. They way they’ve styled the pair at Bottega - by wrapping them around the cuffs - is genius. I also prefer the flat style because, lets face it, they would be way more comfortable.
